2017 Shark Links
It’s time to gear up and get to Cape May for the 38th South Jersey Shark Tournament hosted once again at South Jersey Marina! As the season’s starter for competitive big-game sport fishing off the Jersey shore, we’re looking forward to welcoming all of our participants back after a long, unforgiving winter!
Not only is the South Jersey Shark Tournament known for big payouts and some serious fishing competition but it’s also a great opportunity to make new or catch-up with old friends across all generations. With the event setting at South Jersey Marina paired with nightly “top notch” dockside hospitality, you’ll see why our family of participants continues to grow each year. Even after a breezy start to 2017’s tournament, the weather couldn’t stop our anglers from breaking the inlet in search of the big one. With an “All In” of Calcutta entries just under $6000 and an average purse of $323,273, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t take a chance to win big in this event!
Whether you’re new to big game shark fishing or seasoned by the salt over the years on the water, the South Jersey Shark Tournament is your go to event. In our 38 years of hosting this event we have seen underdogs reign in as champions and winning fish weighed in at the last seconds. With our record tournament payouts, dockside festivities, and annual turnout, there’s no better reason than to come fish the South Jersey Shark Tournament in 2018, June 6th through the 9th.
See you at the scales!
